Why
are you here?
If
so, you have come to the right place.
|

There
are all kinds of losses in our lives …
- Someone
you love has died
- Someone
you used-to-love has died
- A
special relationship has suddenly ended
- You
have been diagnosed with a serious health problem
- You
have gotten divorced
- You
lost your job
- You
moved to a new city, leaving old friends behind
- Your
kids have left home and you’re now an empty-nester
- A
favorite pet has died
- A
loved one has made a surprising change: drugs, sex,
or life-style
Your life has been affected by a loss, and you have
become painfully aware that you have absolutely no idea
how to deal with the emotions you are experiencing.
Death has come calling, and no
one knows what to do or say, or how to help.
Including you.
Others
try to be kind, but they make suggestions that do not
work:
They may say…
“Time
heals”— but you know it doesn’t!
“Keep busy”— but how can you do
any work when all you want to do is cry?
“You’re young, you can still remarry”— but I still want This One.
“You can work this out yourself (=don’t
bother me)”— but I can’t do it
alone, it’s hard.
“Her death was a blessing”— perhaps,
but it still hurts so bad.
“I know how you feel” — no, you
really don’t!
We
love what he had so much that sometimes we just can't
let go. The dead stay alive in our hearts, but we the
living live deadened lives. That’s not the way it’s
supposed to be, and I can help.
I can help you conclude your relationship with who or
what you have lost.
I can help you relieve your emotional pain and create
a life of joy and contentment.
I can help you feel better.

The world teaches us how to acquire things, but it never
teaches us how to lose them.
My Daddy died the day before my twelfth birthday, and
it only took me thirty years to say the word “Daddy”
again! I was unable to say good-bye to him.
No one should ever have to go through that, so I have
devoted my life to helping others heal from the pain of
their losses.

- I
listen to your story as you tell me why it hurts so
much.
- I
learn from you about your “loss style,”
the unique ways you have already responded to previous
losses in your life.
- I
explore the ways that you are responding to this particular
loss.
- I
assist you in preparing your letter of release so that
you may move forward to a life of hope and celebration.
